Good evening,
Mrs. Gore and I wanted to remind you that nearly all returned/graded work can be corrected for a higher grade. The main exceptions are math tests (which have already been corrected by students once) and spelling tests.
When a student corrects their incorrect answers, they receive half credit back up to 89% total (so a score of 6/10 could be corrected to 8/10 maximum, but a score of 9/10 couldn't be corrected for a higher score).
We highly recommend that our students go through all of their incorrect answers and correct what they can. If they are struggling, this method both helps them recognize their errors and helps them improve their grades.
Students have two nights to correct any graded work (so, when work is passed back on Monday, as is typical, they have until Wednesday to turn it back in).
Please let us know if you have any questions about our returned work policy. Our e-mails are LGore@archwaylincoln.org and MAlford@archwaylincoln.org .
Have an excellent long weekend!
-Ms. Alford and Mrs. Gore
